Immediately after the unveiling of the 3rd gen iPhone SE at the Peek Performance launch event, Apple has also revealed the launch information for the new model in Malaysia. In general, it will be made available in our market just one week after the release in the United States.

Specifically, the 2022’s SE will be released in Malaysia starting from Friday, 25 March onwards. However, the new model will be made available for pre-order a week earlier on 18 March starting from 9:00 AM at Apple Malaysia’s website.

As captured on Apple Malaysia’s website at 4:50 AM today.

When it comes to pricing, the 3rd gen SE with 64GB goes for RM2,099 while the 128GB version can be obtained for RM2,299. For those who need larger storage space, there is also the 256GB option which is available for RM2,799.

In general, the pricing for the 2022’s SE is RM100 higher than the launch price of its predecessor. If you compare it to the price in the United States, you are also looking at the difference between RM377 to RM294 although the Malaysian price is slightly lower than Singapore.

While the 2022’s SE may feature the same design and 4.7-inch Retina HD display, it now carries A15 Bionic which is the same processor used in iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro. Additionally, the new model is also now able to support 5G and has a much longer battery life than the 2nd gen SE that was released in 2020.
