Capcom Arcade Stadium

Capcom added its Arcade Stadium to all platforms beyond the Nintendo Switch in May last year. The publisher has announced that a sequel of sorts, called the Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, will be coming in June this year. And it will be available for PC, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

Eurogamer reports that the Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium will work in the same way the first one did. The base “platform”, as it were, will be free to download, with a couple of games thrown in as freebies. Beyond that, any extra game that you want to play will come at a price. In the case of this sequel, there will be 32 additional arcade classic titles in the new list.

For now, Capcom has not shown what that list looks like for the Arcade Stadium sequel. But it did share that SonSon will be the freebie game. And if you pre-order the Capcom Fighting Collection or buy it early, then you’ll also get Three Wonders as a bonus, which includes Midnight Wanderers, Chariot, and Don’t Pull.

The aforementioned Capcom Fighting Collection has a release date of 24 June, according to Steam. So it’s probably fair to assume that the Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium has a similar release date.
